Gateway Body Works


This is a back to the basics yoga class. If you have never taken yoga or you have but are not quite comfortable yet, this is the class for you!  As a beginner, you will experience the practice of hatha yoga as a form of physical exercise that challenges and refines your flexibility, strength and balance. Also, you will learn to control your breathing in a relaxed and modulated way in order to provide focus in the different postures. Learning to do this properly is the gateway to many of the mental and spiritual benefits of hatha yoga. As the individual progresses, greater flexibility of body and mind is gained. This empowers the practitioner to face life’s challenges with a balanced disposition.
